How cheap is it compared to Sky Sports?
An EU legal adviser has ruled in favour of Portsmouth pub landlady Karen Murphy, who had been showing live Premier League football on a Saturday afternoon using a Greek broadcaster. The deals on offer reveal the huge difference in cost to fees charged by Sky Sports.
There are a range of offers online for ways of watching Premier League matches via foreign broadcasters which illustrate how much money could be saved for pubs. 
You would require a satellite dish that is at least 60cm - some Sky dishes are this size
The Sky Sports package for pubs is worked out individually based on the council tax band of a property.
This means that to watch SAFC some places can pay as little as £400 per month but large city centre bars in Sunderland are in excess of £1,500 per month to watch the lads.
